 Today we discussed the four seasons. We talked about which season we were born, what we may see or do in each season, how Room 4's garden will change in Autumn and then made a season wheel with illustrations what we associate each season with.

Here are some of our ideas about each season:

Spring - September, October, November

In spring I like to play at the beach by Kieran

In China they celebrate the blossoms and trees by Gala

It is my birthday in spring by Elsie

In spring the flowers grow by Lily

In spring the flowers bloom and the trees grow more leaves by Alex

In spring heaps of leaves grow back on the trees and the trees and plants get beautiful leaves and petals by Poppy

In Spring I go to the beach and I jump in the cold water by Te Hani 

In spring the lambs are born by Lachlan

Summer - December, January, February

In summer the sun is shining down by Barney

In summer I always wear shorts by Joe

In summer I go to Taupo in the holidays and I get to drive Granddad’s boat by C.J.

In summer I get to swim in Grandma and Granddads pool

In summer I like to play in the pool by Emmylou

Autumn - March, April, May

In Autumn I go to the indoor swimming pool by Orlagh

In autumn the leaves change all sorts of colours by Francie

In autumn all of the trees die by Theo

In Autumn I saw the leaves falling off by Ollie

In autumn the leaves can turn hazel nut colour by William

Winter - June, July, August

In Winter I drink warm milk and wear warm clothes by Amber

In winter it is very cold and you have to wear warm clothes by Blaine

In Winter I saw snow by Max
