A Stormy Night
Bang Bang I suddenly woke up I was scared!
I looked out the window. It was thunder and lightning. I threw the covers over
I me. I hugged my teddy bear and went back to sleep.

Last night I couldn’t sleep because of the
wild wind outside and the pitter-patter of the rain. Suddenly there was a light
in my room. I crept down the hall into Mami and Papi’s room, another light. I
was scared. I cuddled up close to my Mami. Mami said, “it’s ok Gala”. Finally
the lightning stopped and I went to sleep but I didn’t have much time until
morning.

What if…..
What if last night the rain sploshed and
splashed on the roof and made a hole in the roof and the house flooded. Dad
would have to put drains in the floor. Then we would have to put our puffa
jackets and jerseys and raincoats on and run somewhere else. But we would be
soaking when we got somewhere because the rain would still be pouring down.

Just then I woke up then I heard the
lightning and thunder and the windows were pitch white. I kept waking up. Crash
the thunder nearly cracked our house in half. Then I got out of bed and I went
to my Mum and Dads room and snug up in my Dads arms then I went back to sleep.

What if....
What if the rain and thunder made a big monster and it destroyed the world. He used his thunder powers to destroy the houses and destroy the cars and in the morning the monster was gone finally.

Last night I heard lots of pitter pattering of hail! I think at sea the waves were crashing!Last night the wind went wild and the washing would have been flapping!
